Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery suitable for applications to EV and HEV.SOLUTION: A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery comprises: a multilayered electrode assembly 15 including a plurality of layers each arranged by putting a positive electrode plate 1 and a negative electrode plate 2 together with a separator 3 interposed therebetween, provided that the positive electrode plate 1 includes a positive electrode active material expressed by LiNiCoMnOand having a layered structure, and the negative electrode plate 2 includes a negative electrode active material including graphite; a nonaqueous electrolyte including a mix solvent including EC and MEC with LiPFdissolved therein; and an aluminum laminate outer sheath 6 housing the multilayered electrode assembly 15, and having the electrolyte filled thereinside. The nonaqueous electrolyte has LiBOB and LiPFOadded thereto. The density of the LiBOB is higher than that of the LiPFObefore completion of initial charge and discharge, whereas the density of the LiBOB is lower than that of the LiPFOafter completion of initial charge and discharge.
