Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum alloy conductor which has good strength and electrical conductivity, exhibits excellent electrical connection characteristics, is lightweight, and can be produced at a reduced cost.SOLUTION: The aluminum alloy conductor is composed of a core material formed from an Al alloy and a skin material which is formed from an Al alloy and clad on one surface or both surfaces of the core material. The Al alloy constituting the skin material includes 0.25-5.0 mass% of Sn, with the remainder comprising Al and inevitable impurities. At this time, it is preferable that the Al alloy constituting the core material includes 0.3-0.8 mass% of Si and 0.35-1.0 mass% of Mg, with the remainder comprising Al and inevitable impurities.
