Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for discharging droplets which can discharge in a stable size of the discharged droplet regardless of sheet speed variation and prevent shifting of a striking position.SOLUTION: A device includes: piezoelectric elements arranged so as to face each of a plurality of pressure chambers via a diaphragm; a sheet conveying encoder; and a control part which sets a period of timing for discharging droplets based on a sheet conveying encoder signal output by the sheet conveying encoder, and outputs a discharge timing signal being a signal of the discharge timing period and data on a drive waveform which drives the piezoelectric elements and corresponds to the discharge timing period. When a change of recording media conveying speed is generated, the control part performs a first correction for correcting the discharge timing so that an integer multiple of the frequency of the discharge timing signal is synchronized with a frequency of a resonant oscillation of the plurality of the pressure chambers, and a second correction for correcting inclination of the drive waveform so as to eliminate the shifting of a striking position of the droplets on the recording media caused by the first correction. |
