PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support device capable of making a notification for start guidance at an appropriate timing by considering information on weather in addition to traffic information.SOLUTION: A driving support device 1 comprises: a traffic information acquisition function unit 3 for acquiring traffic information around its own vehicle; a weather and road information acquisition function unit 4 for acquiring weather information around its own vehicle; a start guidance coefficient calculation unit 8 for, on the basis of the traffic information acquired by the traffic information acquisition function unit 3 and the weather information acquired by the weather and road information acquisition function unit 4, calculating a timing of start guidance for guiding a start of its own vehicle; and a start guidance notification function unit 9 for, on the basis of the timing of start guidance calculated by the start guidance coefficient calculation unit 8, making a notification for start guidance.
