Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump device which makes the output of a high efficiency electric motor equivalent to the output of an existing electric motor by a controller, and which automatically controls to prevent the increase of power consumption, even when the drive is commanded to a newly provided pump at the same frequency as the existing pump.SOLUTION: A pump device includes: a pump part having an impeller in a pump casing; an electric motor for rotationally driving the impeller; and a controller for performing input from/output to the outside part and having an electric power conversion part for performing frequency control of the electric motor. The pump device is configured in such a manner that, when replacing an existing electric motor of an existing pump device with a high efficiency electric motor, a storage unit which has stored control data regarding the frequency and a calculation unit which acquires corresponding control data from the storage unit based on a command from the outside and calculates the frequency supplied to the high efficiency electric motor are provided at the controller; thereby, the electric power of the calculated frequency is supplied from the electric power conversion unit to the high efficiency electric motor.
