CORE BIT AND CORE BIT SET FOR POWER TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a core bit and a core bit set for a power tool, which can prevent deformation of a core bit body having an engaging notch and which do not cause a malfunction in attachment/detachment.SOLUTION: A core bit 1 includes a cylindrical core bit body 2 which has a diamond tip 4 provided on a leading end side and which has an engaging notch 5 provided on a terminal end side, and a cylindrical reinforcing ring 6 which is provided on the terminal end side of the core bit body 2 in such a manner as to cover the outer peripheral side of the engaging notch 5. Deformation of the core bit body 2 can be prevented by reinforcing it with the cylindrical reinforcing ring 6. In addition, an inner peripheral surface 6a serves as a centering surface to be fitted to a shank side. This enables accurate centering and suppression of deviation of the core bit 1.
