PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor-driven blower capable of suppressing a decrease in motor efficiency by improving cooling performance for field winding although making the motor compact.SOLUTION: A motor-driven blower includes: a blower part 2 and a rectifier motor 3. The rectifier motor 3 includes: a stator 7 and a rotor 8, the stator 7 includes: a stator core 9 and a field winding 10, and the rotor 8 includes: a shaft 11, a rotor 12, and a rectifier 13. The stator core 9 includes: long-side parts 9a, 9b which are sectioned in a rectangular and annular shape, extended along long sides of the rectangle, and provided with magnetic poles 22a, 22b inside, and is fixed while inscribed with a frame 6.
