Zusammenfassung: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropic conducting adhesive material including optically reflective conducting particles which makes possible to avoid making difference between a luminous color and a reflected light color of a light-emitting element without providing, in the light-emitting element, an optically reflective layer which would lead to the increase in manufacturing cost, nor lowering the light emission efficiency when manufacturing a light-emitting device by flip-chip mounting the light-emitting element on a wiring board by use of anisotropic conducting adhesive material.SOLUTION: An anisotropic conducting adhesive material is for making an anisotropic conducting connection of a light-emitting element to a wiring board, and it comprises: a thermosetting resin composition; and optically reflective conducting particles 10 which are distributed therein, and whose color is gray in appearance. As to the thermosetting resin composition, the optical transmittance of 1 cm optical path length is 80% or larger for visible light with a wavelength of 380-750 nm. The optically reflective conducting particles 10 each includes: a core particle 1 coated with a metal material; and an optically reflective layer 3 formed thereon of an optically reflective inorganic particles 2 having a refraction index of 1.52 or larger. The difference in refraction index between the thermosetting resin composition and the optically reflective inorganic particles is 0.02 or larger. A 100-μm-thick material formed by hardening of the anisotropic conducting adhesive material has a reflectance of at least 15% for 450-nm wavelength light. |
