PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide means using a plurality of authentication servers having authentication information databases different from each other without integrating the authentication servers, and constructing a network authentication system though it is necessary to use one authentication server when integrating the plurality of network authentication systems in a conventional network authentication system.SOLUTION: An authentication system and a device comprise an authentication processing distribution function of individually setting an authentication method and an authentication server in port units of a network apparatus, and selecting an authentication processing part for performing authentication in each port.
