ELEVATOR CAGE VENTILATOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress ingress of smoke into an elevator cage at the time of fire.SOLUTION: A ventilation hole 19 for performing ventilation of a cage 11 is provided to the cage 11 of an elevator constituted of a car ceiling 12, a left car lateral surface plate 13, a car rear surface plate 14, a right car lateral surface plate 15 and a car floor 16. A bimetal shutter 20 is disposed on the ventilation hole 19. The shutter 20 is configured so as to perform the ventilation through the ventilation hole 19 at the time of normal temperature and to close the ventilation hole 19 by causing a heating element 22 to generate heat by a power source of a fire alarm 23 at the time of fire. Thus, ingress of smoke into the cage 11 can be suppressed.
