Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an implantable drug delivery device facilitating an insertion of an injection needle for drug solution supplement, and an instrument for supplementing the device.SOLUTION: In various embodiments, a supplement needle 120 is used when supplementing a drug delivery device. The supplement needle includes a hollow shaft that can extend from a proximal end of the needle to a proximal end of a distal end 208 forming a tail end. The supplement needle includes at least one fluid outlet 220 disposed along the shaft, e.g., at a part near the distal end, and means 224 suited to restrict an entry range of the supplement needle entering in an inlet 116 of the drug delivery device.
