Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of suppressing unnecessary guidance for a user.SOLUTION: A control section 30 inhibits guidance associated with a branched road even when a bifurcation flag is set at a branching point of a road located ahead of a current position where the road is branched off from a normal lane only in a case where the current position is located in the HOV lane indicated by map information in which the HOV lane and the normal lane are defined by one link and information representing whether or not the HOV lane is provided together with the normal lane is included in link data.
