Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flame-retardant resin composition which includes a PET resin as a main component, which simultaneously bestows, without using halogen-based flame retardants, practically sufficient flame retardance, water resistance, transparency, and moldability, and which can mitigate the corrosion of a processing apparatus on a processing occasion, a method for manufacturing the same, and a flame-retardant sheet.SOLUTION: The flame-retardant resin composition includes (a) 100 pts.wt. of a polyethylene terephthalate resin, (b) 0.05-1.6 pts.wt. of ammonium phosphate, and (c) 0.01-0.3 pts.wt. of fatty acid amides and/or glycerin fatty acid esters. The manufacturing method of the flame-retardant resin composition comprises a first step of obtaining a resin composition by melting and kneading a portion of the (a) polyethylene resin and additives including the (b) ammonium phosphate and the (c) fatty acid amides and/or glycerin fatty acid esters and a second step of melting and kneading the obtained resin composition with the balance of the polyethylene terephthalate resin.
