PRINTING UNIT BLOCK ALIGNMENT DEVICE AND ALIGNMENT METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance efficiency and high accuracy of alignment work in a printing unit block alignment device.SOLUTION: The printing unit block alignment device comprises: support means for opening-closing in a support position and a release position for receiving a printing unit block group carried out by transversely feeding from a lower rail group with every row unit block, by dropping the printing unit block group on the orthogonal lower rail group from an upper rail in succession to a primary cutter and a secondary cutter; and an alignment carrying rail for longitudinally feeding at a constant speed by alignment carrying means, by being juxtaposed in the longitudinal direction with every row unit block, by receiving the printing unit block group dropping by a variation to the release position of this support means, and is provided with electric control means for electrically controlling the dropping timing to the alignment carrying rail from the support means, in which this electric control means controls the dropping timing in response to the stage number of a longitudinal row in a different imposition constitution, while setting a carrying speed of transverse feed carrying means to a unified speed regardless of the imposition constitution.
