Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus capable of preventing deterioration in an image quality by setting a driving condition for a recording head to a suitable driving condition in response to a temporal change of the recording head, and a method for setting the driving condition.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording apparatus (20), which records an image on a recording medium using a recording head (14) having a discharge port for discharging ink, includes acquisition means for acquiring information on use history of the recording head (14), prediction means for predicting a driving condition suitable for driving of the recording head (14) from a driving parameter in response to the information, formation means for forming a pattern under the predicted driving condition and a driving condition in its large-small range, and setting means for setting a driving condition for the recording head (14) by reading and analyzing the pattern and calculating the driving condition suitable for driving of the recording head (14) during recording.
