PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brush device allowing a person with abundant hair or long hair to massage the scalp with little disturbing the hairstyle.SOLUTION: An electric brush device 1 comprises a second brush part 3A operated by a device body 2 as a drive part. The second brush part 3A includes a base plate 70 formed by a flexible material, a plurality of support protrusions 72 protruding from the surface of the base plate 70 and integrally provided with the base plate 70; and a plurality of elongate protrusions 75, the base ends of which are supported by the support protrusions 72 and that are thinner and softer than the support protrusions 72. Tips 80T of the relatively thin and soft elongate protrusions 75 pass through the hair to come into contact with the scalp S and are bent so as to come into contact with the scalp S in a wide area. The device body 2 is actuated, with the tips in wide contact with the scalp, such that the elongate protrusions 75 catch the scalp so as to favorably perform massage.
