ROLLING BEARING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing in which abrasion powder such as ferrous particles of the rolling bearing can be actively attracted to a magnetic substance before the abrasion powder gives damage to the raceway surface of the bearing.SOLUTION: The rolling bearing includes a plurality of rolling elements 6 rollingly arranged between a fixed ring 2 and a rotary ring 4, a cage 8 for rollingly holding the rolling elements 6, seals 7 provided at both ends of the fixed ring, and lubricating oil provided in a space. In the peripheral face of the rotary ring 4 at the side of the cage 8 between each rolling element 6 and each seal 7, annular grooves 10 are formed to temporarily store the lubricating oil. On the peripheral face of the cage 8 at the side of the rotary ring 4, a protruded part 9 is formed in at least one site in the circumferential direction to scrape out the lubricating oil temporarily stored in the annular groove 10 with respect to each metallic powder. On the seals 7 at the side of the rotary ring 4, magnetic substances 20 are provided for gathering the metallic powder from the lubricating oil raked out.
