Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage device for maintenance and replacement, configured to suppress an increase of costs by considering a maintenance inspection cost, while considering an environmental point, when replacing a storage battery for supplying electric power to an elevator at an end of life in power failure.SOLUTION: In a power controller including: a storage battery for supplying electric power to an elevator in power failure; and a trickle charger for charging the storage battery, a storage device for maintenance and replacement is provided for replacing the storage battery at an end of life, etc. The storage device for maintenance and replacement constituted of a periodic charger or a pulse charger and a nickel hydride storage battery is provided, and is replaced without removing the trickle charger.
