ARTIFICIAL SATELLITE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an artificial satellite capable of easily storing and developing an antenna.SOLUTION: An artificial satellite includes a film antenna 3, and a pair of paddle parts 2 and 2 where solar batter panels 4 are arranged. The pair of paddle parts 2 and 2 are symmetrically arranged to each other with respect to an artificial satellite body 1 to be swung. The film antenna 3 is hung between the pair of paddle parts 2 and 2. When the pair of paddle parts 2 and 2 are swung to be housed, they are wound on the artificial satellite body 1 to be housed. When the pair of paddle parts 2 and 2 are swung to be developed, they are separated from the artificial satellite body 1 to be developed. The film antenna 3 is freely deformable, and easily housed at the time of launching. Only by releasing a hosed state, the antenna is returned to its original shape, and thus it is easily developed in the cosmic space.
