Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power tool capable of preventing loosening of a chuck to a spindle without increasing the number of components.SOLUTION: A power tool includes a motor, a spindle 5 rotationally driven by the motor, and a chuck 6 screwed to the spindle 5 to hold a tip tool. In the power tool, a spindle piece 10 widening a screw surface of a chuck fixing male screw 5a of the spindle 5 to the outside is provided in a recess 5b formed in the spindle 5. A slit groove is formed at a tip in which the chuck fixing male screw 5a of the spindle 5 is formed, thereby making the screw surface have a structure easy to widen to the outside.
