GUIDE WIRE INTRODUCTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guide wire introduction device for deploying an opening for introducing the guide wire in the pericardium by just leading a micro portion near a distal end into the pericardium.SOLUTION: The guide wire introduction device includes: a cylindrical body 2 having a through-hole 2a opened at a distal end side in the longitudinal direction and allowing the guide wire to penetrate therethrough; a non-sharp distal end 3 that is provided at the distal end of the body 2 and cannot penetrate through the pericardium by just pressing; and a hook section 5 having a pointed end 5a that extends radially outward a lateral face of the body 2 at a proximal side with respect to the distal end 3 and can penetrate through the pericardium coming into contact from the lateral side.
