Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a server system or the like that can provide accurate article information for a communication terminal device and can thereby suitably manage article stock of a virtual shop by eliminating a time lag associated with the stock between a real shop and the virtual shop.SOLUTION: An article management system includes: an in-shop terminal device 10 which registers the number of articles in stock and an article price; a section image management server device 30 which performs image management on articles in respective predetermined display sections in a real shop S; an article management server device 40 which manages the respective articles on the basis of variation information representing change in sales situation, associated with the articles, such as variation in number of articles in stock and variation in price; and at least one imaging device 50 installed in the real shop S.
