Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imprinting method capable of easily and accurately cutting a laminated sheet.SOLUTION: The imprinting method comprises a transfer step of transferring an uneven pattern of a mold 33 to a layer 15 of a molding material by sandwiching the layer 15 of the molding material between a glass sheet 11 and the mold 33, to form an uneven layer 17 on the glass sheet 11. In the transfer step, a surface on the side opposite to that surface of the glass sheet 11 on which the uneven layer 17 is formed is supported by a support sheet 13, and a protective part 18 is formed at an end surface of the glass sheet 11 by the molding material held between that portion of the support sheet 13 which protrudes from the glass sheet 11 and the mold 33.
