Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood preserving agent which allows the aseptic properties and termite repellency of wood to be maintained for a long period and improves finish without impairing the original color tone of wood.SOLUTION: The wood preserving agent includes: an oil which contains a hinokitiol component; an emulsifier which contains at least polyoxyethylene tridecyl ether phosphate or polyoxyethylene styrenated phenyl ether ammonium sulfate; at least one vinyl monomer selected from polyethylene glycol-based vinyl monomer, zinc sulfonate-based vinyl monomer, amine-based vinyl monomer, and quaternary ammonium chloride-based vinyl monomer; and water.
