METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR CHANNEL DECODING IN SYSTEM USING LOW DENSITY PARITY-CHECK CODES

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for channel decoding in a system using a low-density parity-check code.SOLUTION: The decoding method of the present invention includes: a step of demodulating a received signal; a step of determining a position of a shortened information bit; and a step of decoding the demodulated signal in consideration of the determined position of the shortened information bit. The step of determining the position of the shortened information bit includes: a step of determining the number of the shortened information bits; a step of determining the number of shortened bit groups based on the determined number of the shortened information bits; and a step of acquiring a predetermined sequence of the bit group.
