Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically calculate the data length of the track of a platter of a disk storage device.SOLUTION: Track specifying pieces of information for specifying a track belonging to a sector are obtained in predetermined order from a plurality or sectors arranged on a disk of a disk storage device. Among the sectors, if the track specifying information obtained in the first sector does not match the track specifying information of the second sector obtained right before the first sector, a data length from a predetermined sector to the second sector is stored in a storage section as the data length of the track on which the second sector is arranged.
