METHODS AND APPARATUSES TO REDUCE CONTEXT SWITCHING DURING DATA TRANSMISSION AND RECEPTION IN MULTI-PROCESSOR DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce context switching and interruptions during data transfer between processors.SOLUTION: In transferring data between a first and a second processor having shared memory, a plurality of data packets are aggregated at the first processor into a packet bundle, which is then transferred to the second processor using the shared memory. The transfer is performed in a single context switch at the first processor, and the packet bundle is then unbundled into individual data packets at the second processor.
