PIPE ENDOSCOPE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a pipe endoscope in which the endoscope does not contact with an environment of an affected part in a patient body, sterilization treatment is not required, a sufficient amount of light for collecting information on the affected part is available, and smooth insertion operation can be performed.SOLUTION: A pipe endoscope 100 includes: a cylindrical, bottomed and transparent observation container 10 with a base end side opened and with a tip side sealed; a scope 20 inserted into the observation container 10 and having an objective lens 21 at the tip part; and an image processor 30 connected to the scope 20 to process information collected by the scope 20 and display video. The observation container 10 includes a projection part 12 projecting to the tip side more than a sealed light transmissive bottom part 11 with a tip subjected to curvature work R, and includes a light source 26 for irradiating light around the bottom part 11 in a detachable manner.
