Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary electric machine that has improved demagnetization resistance of permanent magnets and prevents output from declining as possible.SOLUTION: The rotary electric machine comprises: a shaft 6; a rotor 2 which rotates together with the rotation of the shaft 6 and comprises permanent magnets 3; and a stator 1 which is placed facing to the outer diameter side of the rotator 2 with a clearance from the rotator 2. The rotary electric machine further comprises demagnetization protection conductors 7 which extend in the axis direction of the shaft 6 and are placed inside of the rotator 2. A pair of demagnetization protection conductors 7 is provided per magnetic pole of the rotator 2 and the pair of demagnetization protection conductors 7 is electrically connected with each other. The demagnetization protection conductors 7 are placed at an adjacent different pole side rather than a permanent magnet 3 end close to another permanent magnet 3 in the same magnetic pole in a circumferential direction of the rotator 2 inside of the rotator 2.
