Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent electric erosion of a bearing by making a cyclic current that used to flow bearings at both ends of a shaft caused by magnetic unbalance around a rotor shaft flow into a path other than the bearing and provide a rotary electric machine having excellent maintainability.SOLUTION: A rotary electric machine includes: a shaft 6; a rotor 4 that rotates by a rotation of the shaft 6; a housing 10 that accommodates the rotor 4 and a stator 2; and bearings 15, 16 that rotatably support the shaft 6. A current path 19 through which an induction current generated by unbalance of magnetic flux around the shaft 6 is formed in the shaft 6 without providing a brush, so that no induction current flows through the bearings 15, 16 by the current path 19.
