IMAGE PROCESSING APPARATUS, AND METHOD AND PROGRAM OF CONTROLLING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which: in transmitting image data from an image processing apparatus that supports pseudo Push Scan, since a user is not informed of a time point when a scan job request is received from a PC, the user cannot determine until when the user has to wait near the image processing apparatus.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus sets a transmission destination of image data, and stores image data obtained by reading a document. When a received scan job request is a scan job request from the set transmission destination, the image processing apparatus converts the stored image data according to a parameter included in the scan job request, and transmits the converted image data to the transmission destination that has transmitted the scan job request.
