EXCAVATION BUCKET

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavation bucket excellent in mud sweeping performance and capable of reducing its manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: A bucket base body 13 consisting of a bottom plate 14 and left and right side plates 15, 16, and a pair of brackets 19, 20 are formed as a base body side integral product 12 with forging, and a front bottom plate 21 and left and right front side plates 22, 23 formed individually are joined to the base body side integral product 12 with welding. Thus, the bucket base body 13 can be freely shaped with forging, and so the mud sweeping performance of an excavation bucket 11 can be enhanced. The integral molding of the base body side integral product 12 using forging means reduces the scale of a forging installation as compared with the case that the whole excavation bucket 11 including the front bottom plate 21 and the left and right front side plates 22, 23 is forged, and enables the manufacture of the excavation bucket 11 having the mud sweeping performance while reducing its manufacturing cost.
