Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool holding member of a two-face restraining type, having excellent resistance force to a tool moment.SOLUTION: When a tool 2 is inserted in a hole portion 10 of a tool holding member 1, an inner peripheral surface 151 and an end surface 153 of a holder 15 are respectively contacted with an outer peripheral surface 221 of an insertion portion 22 of the tool 2 and an end surface 211 of the flange portion 21. A steel ball 18 pushed up by a side pin 13 is fitted in a fitting hole 224 of an inner peripheral surface 223 of the insertion portion 22 of the tool 2, and a steel ball 43 energized by a spring 42 is pressed against the outer peripheral surface 221 of the insertion portion 22 to hold the tool 2.
