Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the effect of noise at the time of touch detection, without being affected by noise due to lighting control of a back light, and to enable touch detection with high accuracy of detection.SOLUTION: A touch detection unit uses a touch panel 17 for the touch detection of a proximity object. The touch detection unit performs touch detection in a period excluding a scanning period when one screen is scanned through plural scanning signal lines of a liquid crystal panel 14. A back light 16 performs lighting control so that the back light is turned on/off in a period excluding the period when touch detection is performed.
