Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a siloxane degrading material that is not deteriorated even when used for a long term and that causes no abnormal increase in hydrogen concentration in exhaust gas.SOLUTION: A siloxane degrading material is mesoporous silica in which Zr or Ti is included in a skeleton, and is used to hydrolyze siloxane. Characteristics of a pore structure include a pore volume, an average pore diameter, and a solid acid point. A gaseous waste 1 is treated by a recombiner 2 that houses a siloxane degrading layer 4 including the siloxane degrading material and a recombination catalyst layer 5 including a recombination catalyst that makes hydrogen and oxygen react each other.
