FOREIGN MATTER INSPECTION DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter inspection device capable of detecting a foreign matter in powder with high probability.SOLUTION: A foreign matter inspection device includes: a support base 21 which approximately horizontally supports a container housing powder therein; imaging means which images the powder housed in the container supported by the support base 21 from above; a motor 23 which rotates a rotary shaft 24 provided on the lower side of the container supported by the support base 21; and shock imparting means 25 which imparts a shock to a part of the under surface which is a surface on the side opposite to the top surface of the container directed to the imaging means at a frequency according to the number of revolutions of the rotary shaft 24 rotated by the motor 23.
