Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a braking device that enables a linkage and a piston mechanism in a brake caliper to be compact.SOLUTION: In a braking device, a brake caliper includes a caliper adapter that can press a first pad via a caliper body, and a piston mechanism that can press a second pad. A linkage is served to drive the piston mechanism to bring the first pad and the second pad closer to a disc rotor. In a first link 30 of the linkage, one end is pivotally supported to the caliper adapter 28. In a second link 32, one end is turnably coupled to the other end of the first link 30, the other end is pivotally supported to the piston mechanism, and the second link is located to turn back from the first link 30. An inner piston of the piston mechanism is arranged radially inside the caliper adapter 28. An outer piston is fixed to the inner piston and arranged radially outside the caliper adapter 28.
