A triaxial acceleration sensor 18 for detecting the acceleration of a casing 16 of the portable unit 12 is built in the casing 16. Direction detection means 28A of the portable unit 12 detects the moving direction of the casing 16 on the basis of the result of acceleration detection accepted from the triaxial acceleration sensor 18. Control information generation means 28B generates control information for the vehicle on the basis of the detection result of the moving direction. Transmission means 28C transmits the generated control information to the vehicle control device 14 over a radio wave of a UHF band from a UHF antenna 20B. A vehicle control ECU 38 of the vehicle control device 14 functions as vehicle control means for controlling the vehicle, that is, controlling in-vehicle equipment on the basis of the control information of the vehicle supplied from a communication ECU 36. |
