Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire saw which has excellent sharpness and which hardly causes clogging by chippings.SOLUTION: A wire saw includes a body 6 which has a first metal wire 1 made of a cobalt group alloy, two second metal wires 2a and 2b made of the cobalt group alloy, and three third metal wires 3a-3c wound around the first metal wire 1 and made of the cobalt group alloy. The second metal wires 2a and 2b spirally cross each other in directions opposite to each other, and are wound around the third metal wires 3a-3c, respectively. A cutting blade is composed of a protrusion 8 formed of an intersection point of the two second metal wires 2a and 2b.
