PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to grasp which inner part of an image is extracted for video distribution even when the camera is artificially panned or tilted using values of extraction information for panning, tilting and zooming.SOLUTION: A photographing device comprises: a receiving unit for receiving, from an external device, first extraction information for extraction in a first coordinate system indicating an extraction position and an extraction size at and in which video data is to be extracted; a conversion unit for converting the first extraction information into second extraction information for extraction in a second coordinate system differing from the first coordinate system; an extraction processing unit for extracting part of video data according to the second extraction information; and a distribution processing unit for distributing, to the external device, video data and extracted video data which has been extracted by the extraction processing unit. The distribution processing unit further transmits the second extraction information to the external device.
