Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that effectively releases heat generated by two types of light sources.SOLUTION: A liquid crystal display device 110 has light sources 5, 7, a light guide plate 30, a light guide element 31, a radiator 2, and a sheet metal 1. The light source 5 emits light 5L. The light source 7 emits light 7L. The light guide plate 30 has: an incidence surface for receiving the light 5L and the light 7L through the same end face; and an emission surface for emitting planar light. The light guide element 31 guides the light 5L emitted from the light source 5 to the light guide plate 30. The radiator 2 radiates heat generated by the light source 5 and heat generated by the light source 7. The sheet metal 1 holds the light sources 5, 7 and the radiator 2. The light source 5 is arranged opposite to the emission surface of a light guide plate 14. The light source 7 is arranged facing the incidence surface. The radiator 2 is attached to a surface opposed to the surface on which the light source 5 is attached to the sheet metal 1, and arranged in a position sandwiching the sheet metal 1 together with the light source 5.
