Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion apparatus capable of accurately detecting a combustion state even when supplied with combustion air containing silicone.SOLUTION: A combustion apparatus includes a combustion burner which is supplied with combustion fuel and combustion air to burn them by forming a flame, and a flame rod 10 which applies an electric current into the flame and which monitors a combustion state according to the magnitude of the electric current. A filter 17 for adsorbing silicone in the combustion air is provided in a supply path 16 for the combustion air. Thus, the silicone is supplied to the combustion burner 6 together with the combustion air without being turned into a silicone oxide, and the combustion state can be accurately detected without the risk of adhering to the flame rod 10.
