Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive and effective base isolation device combining a computer, a sensor, a jack, a ratchet, and a slide mechanism, while considering that base isolation countermeasure for building structures against earthquake and storm is an urgent problem in Japan, however such countermeasure is not so popularized due to expensive base isolation devices.SOLUTION: A building structure, its base, and a slide mechanism existing therebetween are computer-controlled and normally restricted and fixed by a ratchet mechanism. An earthquake or storm exceeding a set value is detected by the sensor, the restriction is released and the building structure is separated from the base, thus solving the above described problem by a base isolation device avoiding the earthquake motion or the storm.
