Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dielectric ceramic composition showing high AC breakdown voltage while holding various excellent characteristics, and to provide an electronic component having the dielectric ceramic composition applied to a dielectric layer.SOLUTION: The dielectric ceramic composition contains a compound represented by a composition formula Ba(TiSn)Oand an oxide of Zn, where x is 0.970-0.996 and y is 0.050-0.130. The content of the oxide of Zn is 1.5-8.0 pts.wt. in ZnO conversion to the compound of 100 pts.wt. The dielectric ceramic composition further contains an oxide of Nb, and the content of the oxide of Nb is preferably 0.6 or less pts.wt. in NbOconversion to the compound of 100 pts.wt.
