Zusammenfassung:	PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protection device for an existing aircraft warning light capable of surely connecting a bypath circuit in the vicinity of the aircraft warning light and having an advantage over convenience on fixing to the top of a steel tower and operability and hardly dropping broken pieces of the protection device even though the protection device is destroyed, and its installation method.SOLUTION: A protection device for an existing aircraft warning light includes a circuit 1 with protective circuits 6 interposed between a power supply line y1 of an existing cable Y of the existing aircraft warning light X and a ground line y2, a case 2 incorporating the circuit 1, and a bracket 3 for supporting the case 2 on a stand Z fixing the existing aircraft warning light X. The circuit 1 detachably has the protective circuits 6. The case 2 has a case body 2a with corrosion resistance and shock resistance, and a lid 2b for sealing a front opening of the case body 2a, and further, downwardly has a pulling-in hole 2c for pulling in the existing cable Y, a pulling-out hole 2d for pulling out a relay cable 4 between the existing cable Y and the existing aircraft warning light X, and an air hole 5 for releasing internal pressure of the case 2. The bracket 3 supports the case 2 at a lower level rather than the existing aircraft warning light X.
