MANUAL SWITCH WITH REMINDER FUNCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To warn not to perform power interruption operation (open operation) of a path carelessly if the path is charging, when application of a biasing force for operating an operation part is started, in a manual switch for switching a path by displacing the operation part with an external biasing force.SOLUTION: A manual switch (knife switch 5) includes a pressure-sensitive element 21 provided at a surface part of an operation part 16 where a biasing force acts, and detecting the biasing force to the operation part 16, a light-emitting element 22 provided in the operation part 16 and emitting light when the path is electrified, a light-receiving element 23 provided in the operation part 16 and detecting the light emitted from the light-emitting element 22, and alarm means 24 provided on the surface of the operation part 16 or in the operation part 16, and raising an alarm when the light emitted from the light-emitting element 22 is detected by the light-receiving element 23, and a biasing force is detected via the pressure-sensitive element 21.
