PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a configuration of a manual transmission in which the gear arrangement of a large number of shift stages can be reversed by a single reversing mechanism and the rotating shaft of the reversing mechanism does not need to be supported directly on a transmission case.SOLUTION: A manual transmission 10 includes a shift select shaft 24 which is rotated by the select operation of an operation lever 14 and moved in the axial direction by the shift operation of the operation lever 14, shift fork shafts 16, 18, 20, 22 which are disposed parallel to the shift select shaft 24 and movably in the axial direction, and a reversing lever 28. The reversing lever 28 is connected between the shift fork shafts and the shift select shaft 24, is rotated about a reversing shaft 48, which serves as a rotating center axis, by the movement of the shift select shaft 24, and moves the shift fork shaft side end of the shift select shaft 24 in the direction reverse to the moving direction. The reversing shaft 48 is supported on an interlock member 26 supported on the shift select shaft 24.
