METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM AND WIRELESS TERMINAL DEVICE FOR CONTROLLING ANTENNA OUTPUT POWER OF WIRELESS TERMINAL DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control output power of a wireless module included in a wireless terminal device so as to comply with the SAR regulations set in each country.SOLUTION: A tablet terminal device comprises: a transmitting antenna 13; a wireless WAN card 101 that outputs a high-frequency signal to the transmitting antenna; and proximity sensors 15a, 15b that are disposed in the vicinity of the transmitting antenna and detect approach of a human body. A DPR control unit 107 recognizes a country in which a wireless terminal device is in operation and sets a DPR setting unit 108 so as to enable or disable a DPR function that reduces transmission output power of a wireless module when a human body approaches. Thus, by enabling the DPR function in a country in which the DPR function can be disabled, unnecessary reduction of transmission output power can be prevented.
