PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user looking at an image to perceive depth feeling caused by motion parallax.SOLUTION: A position detection unit 11 of an image display device 10 displaying an image reproducing motion parallax detects a position of a user looking at an image; and a state determination unit 13 determines whether or not the user is in a stationary state on the basis of information of the position detected by the position detection unit 11. When the state determination unit 13 determines that the user is in a stationary state, a guide data generation unit 15 generates data of a guide for prompting the user to change the position.
