Zusammenfassung:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display substrate laminating apparatus and method and a method for manufacturing a display substrate, capable of suppressing quality deterioration of the display substrate.SOLUTION: A display substrate laminating apparatus includes a chamber unit 100, a first stage 200, and a second stage 300, the apparatus for laminating a first substrate 10 and a second substrate 20 together. The display substrate laminating apparatus includes, when viewed from a direction in which the first stage 200 and the second stage 300 are arranged: a plurality of exhaust ports 400 positioned on both sides of the first stage 200 and the second stage 300; and a control unit 700 for controlling an inclination of the first stage 200 or the second stage 300. The control unit 700, when air is exhausted from the plurality of exhaust ports 400 to reduce pressure in the chamber unit, adjusts the inclination of the first stage 200 or the second stage 300 to adjust an interval between the first substrate 10 and the second substrate 20.
